6 simple tips for producing gluten-free food

Warning:

- These tips can help you reduce the risk of contamination, but may not be enough to eliminate it.

- If you want to produce food for celiac people / gluten-allergic people, we recommend that you talk to a consultant to define all the specific steps to follow for your activity.

  1. Buy our certified Gluten Free MIXES and choose only gluten-free raw materials (carefully check the label).
  2. Create a space to store only gluten-free raw materials (if not possible, store raw materials in lidded containers and place them on the top shelf in your storeroom or fridge/freezer).
  3. When you decide to produce gluten-free, clean your production site thoroughly.
  4. Use a uniform that's completely dedicated to gluten-free production (for example, one of a different color), or a freshly washed uniform that you have not yet used for other productions.
  5. Use dedicated equipment for gluten-free production, or wash and rinse well the equipment before use.
  6. If possible, display packaged gluten-free products in a specific area in your store and give them a special window space.
